Job Description Position: Technical Implementation Manager Location: New York (Hybrid) Reports To: Head of Client Solutions The Technical Implementation Manager serves as the technical authority during client onboarding and integration, bridging implementation execution with deep technical diagnostics and data validation. Unlike traditional implementation roles, this position combines project leadership with hands-on technical validation and system troubleshooting to prevent production instability and client-facing escalations. Key Responsibilities Implementation Architecture & Execution Lead technical implementation strategy for new and existing clients Design and execute integrations across ATS, HRIS, tracking systems, and Recruitics products Develop implementation plans aligned to technical dependencies and timelines Ensure integrations are properly configured and validated prior to go-live Technical Validation & QA Validate data flows, tracking events, APIs, and feed configurations before launch Establish QA checkpoints to ensure implementation stability Identify and mitigate system conflicts (e.g., attribution overlap, tracking issues) ATS & Integration Expertise Serve as the subject matter expert for ATS/HRIS integrations (Workday preferred) Configure and validate job feeds (XML, JSON, API-based integrations) Assess client tech stacks and support secure system integrations Data & Reporting Alignment Partner with Data Engineering to ensure accurate cost ingestion, vendor mapping, and event tracking Validate reporting outputs prior to client delivery Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor platforms and internal analytics Cross-Functional Leadership Act as the technical liaison across Client Success, Product, Engineering, and Data teams Clarify ownership for testing, QA, and deployment activities Support development of scalable implementation frameworks Continuous Improvement Identify recurring implementation challenges and recommend process improvements Document integration best practices and support automation opportunities Minimum Qualifications Experience 4-6+ years in technical implementation, solutions engineering, or technical project management within a SaaS environment Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ATS systems (Workday preferred) Experience with API-based integrations and data feeds (XML, JSON) Experience validating marketing/event tracking integrations Technical Skills: Strong SQL proficiency Understanding of APIs and system integrations Familiarity with web tracking and cross-domain limitations Experience working with structured job feeds Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies Core Competencies: Systems thinking Root cause analysis Project leadership Cross-functional influence Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders High accountability for production stability Nice to Have Working knowledge of JavaScript preferred Why Join Us? DevSecOps Integration: Collaborate closely with Development, Operations, and Security teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and DevOps processes. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments, security testing, and advise teams on remediation. Cloud Security: Oversee and enhance the security posture of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), ensuring secure deployments and configurations. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that security controls are aligned with industry standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, GDPR) and work toward achieving and maintaining compliance. Tooling & Infrastructure: Select, deploy, and manage security tools and frameworks for automated REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Security, or related roles, with at least 2-3 years working within a DevOps ecosystem. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Crowdstrike, mimecast, and tenable. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Expertise in automation scripting (Python, Bash, or similar languages). Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket). Familiarity with security protocols and standards (OAuth, SSL/TLS, PKI). Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption technologies. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and static/dynamic analysis. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams. A proactive and continuous improvement mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications.
